Rod Wave will be returning to the Kia Center in downtown Orlando next week, accompanied by various special guests. The musician is set to perform on Tuesday, December 17th at the Kia Center, located at 400 E Church Street. The show will kick off at 7 p.m. and will feature additional performances by Moneybagg Yo, Lil Poppa, Dess Dior, Toosii, and Eelmatic.
Rodarius Marcell Green, also known as Rod Wave, is a popular American rapper, vocalist, and lyricist recognized for his powerful vocals and for his involvement in establishing the soul-trap subgenre. Rod Wave gained fame with his hit single “Heart on Ice” in 2019, which became a sensation on YouTube and TikTok and reached number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
His first album, “Ghetto Gospel,” reached number 10 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. His second album, “Pray 4 Love,” reached number 2 on the same chart and featured the track “Rags2Riches,” which peaked at number 12 on the Hot 100.
Rod Wave’s subsequent studio albums – “SoulFly,” “Beautiful Mind,” and “Nostalgia” – all debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 and garnered him further critical acclaim for his soulful delivery and lyrics.
