An investor with a significant stake in Falcon’s Beyond, an Orlando-based company, has revealed plans to purchase a business specializing in ride and show systems. The agreement suggests that Falcon’s will manage Oceanic Entertainment Systems, while also retaining key OES personnel for day-to-day operations. This announcement was made during the second day of the industry’s largest trade show, the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA). Infinite Acquisitions Partner LLC is spearheading the acquisition of assets.
Lucas Demerau, the president of Infinite, stated that the acquisition aims to expand OES. “We believe that Falcon’s expertise in immersive themed entertainment and technology aligns well with OES, allowing them to continue operating and enhancing the OES brand,” he said in a press release. OES and Falcon’s have worked together on themed entertainment projects for over 20 years. OES is known for creating and maintaining trackless ride vehicles, flying theaters, and other attractions.
While the deal has not been finalized, both companies noted that there are still “ongoing discussions, due diligence, and the need to sign binding agreements,” with no certainty of the deal being completed. “We are excited about the opportunity to manage OES and to build upon their reputation for innovation, driven by their exceptional employees,” said Cecil D. Magpuri, the CEO of Falcon’s Beyond. “This strategic decision will strengthen Falcon’s Beyond’s position as a top-tier entertainment provider.”
